Meet Wayne Goulet
Wayne will be joining the faculty at Randolph Technical Career Center this year as the new Business Management instructor.
For the past three years he taught the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) course at Kaiserslautern and Ramstein High Schools in Germany. Prior to teaching AFJROTC, he served 25 years in the United States Air Force.
A native of Marlboro, Massachusetts, Wayne graduated from Nova-Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Management and from the Air Force Institute of Technology with a Master’s of Science in Logistics Management.
“What I enjoy about teaching,” he said, “is the opportunity to positively influence the lives of young adults; to help them achieve their best; and to inspire them both academically and personally. I genuinely enjoy watching students grow and mature into responsible young adults while sharing in their successes and challenges.”
When he’s not in the classroom, Wayne is an avid runner who’s completed 25 full-length (26.2 mile) marathons. He also enjoys skiing, and is a huge Boston sports fan (Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics).
“During my time in the military,” he said, ‘I served in numerous locations, both overseas and within the United States. My overseas assignments included Panama, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Within the United States, I was assigned to bases in Texas, Colorado, California, Ohio, and Maryland. Best of all, I met my wife Dorothy while assigned to Germany. Dorothy was the 2009 Department of Defense Teacher of the Year and is the new French Teacher at Randolph Union High School.”
