The district level open forum scheduled for this Thursday (May 18th) has been postponed until next week. The forum will be held at 7 PM on May 24th in the RUHS auditorium. The forum is just that, a general discussion about anything on folks’ minds. In addition, I’d like to spend a bit of time hearing from the community on the possibility of building a new RUHS/RTCC complex to begin gauging the community’s appetite for such a project and to begin generating ideas on what the potential scope could look like. Given the aged state of these two facilities and the ongoing discussions in the legislature about school construction aid, this may be a very important conversation.
Sincerely, Layne Millington, Superintendent
