The USDA and State of Vermont have made school meals available free to all students for the school year 2023- 2024.  That being true we RELY ON PARENTS RETURNING FREE AND REDUCED APPLICATIONS  for funding both in education and nutrition programs.

The Nutrition Program wants to be able to offer the Fruit and Vegetable Program and our Summer Food Program again for students and our ability to do that at no cost will depend on our Free and Reduced Percentage from the applications we receive back from you!!  Federal and State Grants for Equipment are based on these numbers as well!!

Educationally,  Title 1 programs ( Reading, Science and Math programs), are funded based on these percentages.

Families qualifying for Free and Reduced can qualify for reduced internet costs, kids applying for college can do so at no cost. PSAT and SAT test can be taken at no cost, and even safe on the cost of groceries.

We hope that you take a moment to fill out the forms and return them to the Food Service Director , Willy Walker.

If you have any questions or need help with the forms feel free to contact him.
